They were having a big gathering on a dock by the ocean then they started praying right in front of me, after they were done praying I was looking for my son and I seen him with 2 or 3 other kids on the dock about to jump in the water and he went underwater I was worried so I was about to jump in but before I could jump in killer whales brought him and his friends back as he was getting off the whales head I asked him what are you doing son you can’t swim and he responded but I can walk tho.
This dream presents a rich tapestry of symbolism that encompasses themes of connection, protection, and the innate qualities of your son.
Gathering on the dock by the ocean: The dock represents a transitional space, a point where the solidity of land meets the vastness of the ocean. This could symbolize your current life stage where you are contemplating significant changes or transitions. The ocean is often associated with emotions, the subconscious, and the unknown. A gathering suggests community and shared experiences—perhaps you are currently seeking connection with others or are part of a supportive social circle.
Praying: The act of praying in the dream indicates a search for guidance, support, or intervention in your life. It may reflect feelings of vulnerability or a desire for wisdom in your parenting journey. Prayers can also embody hope for protection, health, and safety for loved ones, particularly for your son, indicating your deep concern for his well-being.
Searching for your son: This aspect of the dream reveals your instinctive need to protect and care for your child, showcasing a natural parental anxiety. The act of looking for your son implies feelings of uncertainty or a worry that he may be out of your control or supervision.
Seeing your son with other kids about to jump into the water: This highlights the themes of childhood, play, and exploration. Children represent innocence and the innate desire to discover the world around them. However, the context of water introduces an element of danger and risk, suggesting your apprehensions about your son’s safety as he embarks on new experiences.
Your son going underwater: Water can symbolize deep feelings or overwhelming experiences. When your son goes underwater, it indicates a moment of fear or concern about him being overwhelmed or facing challenges that he may not be prepared for. This may reflect your own fears about how he will navigate through life’s obstacles.
Killer whales: Whales often symbolize emotional depth and intelligence. They are also seen as protectors in many cultures. In this dream, their intervention points to a sense of safety and reassurance that even in moments of worry, there are protective forces at play, whether they be familial bonds, community support, or inherent instincts. The killer whales rescuing your son signifies that, although he may face challenges, there is always assistance available, both from others and unseen guides.
Your son’s response about walking: This statement reflects a child’s innocence and adaptability. It embodies a sense of independence and the ability to navigate situations in his own way, even if you perceive them as dangerous. This could suggest that your son may have skills or qualities that you might not be fully aware of yet, highlighting the importance of trusting his capabilities and judgment.
Overall, this dream may symbolize your deep love and concern for your son as he grows and encounters life's experiences. It encourages you to find balance between protection and allowing him the freedom to explore and learn. At the same time, there is a reassurance from the universe or your psyche that he will have support as he faces challenges. Embrace both the protective instincts and the belief in his ability to navigate through life’s waters independently.
